About This Tour
This tour combines the best of Colombia's western and central Andes with the outstanding Pacific lowland rainforest of the Chocó bioregion. From the endemic-packed cloud forests of Antioquia and Caldas, we move into the spectacular Chocó-Andean transition forests of Risaralda — home to the Gold-ringed Tanager and Cauca Guan — before descending to the Pacific lowlands of Valle del Cauca and the pristine rainforest of San Cipriano. With ~450 species and some of the most diverse habitats in South America, this is the ideal tour for birders who want both Andean specialties and Pacific lowland endemics.
