A complete traverse of Colombia's western and central Andes, covering two of the most biodiverse departments on the planet. Starting in Medellín, we move through contrasting ecosystems — the urban cloud forest of La Romera, the dry Magdalena valley at Bolombolo, the legendary birding town of Jardín, and the high-altitude páramo above Manizales. We finish in the remote forests of Anorí, last stronghold of the Red-bellied Grackle. With ~350 species across 12 days, this is Colombia's most efficient endemic-per-day tour.
