Antioquia is Colombia's most biodiverse department for endemic birds, and this tour covers its complete birding circuit. Starting in Medellín, we move through contrasting ecosystems: the cloud forest of La Romera, the dry Magdalena valley at Bolombolo, the Andean Cock-of-the-rock country of Jardín, the mid-elevation forests of Cocorná and San Pedro, and finishing in the remote northwestern forests of Porce and Anorí — stronghold of the critically endangered Red-bellied Grackle.
